Burleigh Marine Systems concentrates its activities on design consultancy for Port and Terminal operators, particularly advising on ship docking systems and fendering upgrades. Among the products represented are Stevens Quick Release Hooks and Marimatech Laser Docking and Ship Monitoring Systems.

These systems have been installed worldwide by major oil companies to assist and monitor berthing, mooring and drift control of VLCCs. The systems are also relevant to the operation of ferry terminals and container quays where berthing speed, fender deflections, mooring line activity and drift warning can all be recorded as well as remote quick release of mooring lines, all of which improve safety and turnaround time.
